Miss Fairview Scholarship Pageant to showcase ‘classic’ theme

Fairview’s annual tradition continues as the 2025 Miss Fairview Scholarship Pageant prepares to showcase four exceptional young women competing for the prestigious title. This year’s theme, “Classic,” will set the stage for a night of elegance and community spirit. The winner will succeed the reigning Miss Fairview, Brecklyn Thompson, who has spent the past year representing the city with grace and dedication.

The contestants vying for the crown are:

Summer Elizabeth Johnson

Summer Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of Emily and Joel Johnson. Her service platform, “Legacy in Bloom,” focuses on helping the community celebrate the lives of their loved ones by planting memory gardens and sharing cherished memories. Summer will perform a piano and vocal solo to “Forever and a Day” by Benson Boone. She aspires to become a cardiovascular surgeon.

Cassidy Curtis

Cassidy Curtis, daughter of Julene Curtis and Wes Curtis. Her service platform, “Safety in Seconds,” aims to educate the community on the importance of buckling up and adopting safer driving habits. Cassidy will showcase her talent with a piano and vocal solo, “Salt and the Sea” by the Lumineers. She plans to pursue a degree in business and entrepreneurship.

Alyssa Fey Cox

Alyssa Fey Cox, daughter of Jerry and Lacey Cox. Her service platform, “PAWsitive Relations,” raises awareness of local resources for pet adoption and foster care. Alyssa’s talent presentation will feature crocheting a variety of handmade treasures. She hopes to pursue a career in art.

Shea Rawlinson

Shea Rawlinson, daughter of Sean and Shauna Rawlinson. Her service platform, “Go, Grow, Glow,” promotes healthy lifestyle changes for a happier, more fulfilling life. Shea will perform a vocal solo of “Fly Away Home” by PinkZebra. She aspires to become a real estate agent and, above all, dreams of the honor of being a mother.

The 2025 Miss Fairview Scholarship Pageant will take place on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Peterson Dance Hall in Fairview. Community members are encouraged to attend and support these remarkable contestants as they compete for the title.

Tickets: Available at the door — Adults: $5, Children (3-11): $3.
