The New Year brought a special delivery to Gunnison Valley Hospital with the arrival of its first baby of 2025. Brexlee Marie Beckstead was born at 7:18 a.m. on Jan. 2, bringing joy to her proud parents, Jared and Kaitlin Beckstead, of Mayfield.

Brexlee joins her big brother, 15-month-old Waylon, in the Beckstead family, who are overjoyed with their newest addition.

Kaitlin, originally from Manti, works as a veterinarian at Gunnison Valley Animal Clinic, while Jared, who grew up in Wales, Utah, runs his own business, Patriot Pallet Co.

“We’re so thrilled to welcome Brexlee into our family,” the couple shared.

Gunnison Valley Hospital celebrates this wonderful beginning to 2025, extending congratulations to the Beckstead family on their newest bundle of joy.
