October 4th groundbreaking ceremony for The North Sanpete Veterans Memorial
Honor our veterans and join the fun at the Mt. Pleasant Contoy Arena at 995 W. 1000 South, Mt. Pleasant, just west of Terrell’s, on Saturday, Nov. 15. Festivities for this fundraiser for the North Sanpete Veterans Memorial Park start at 5 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m.
Admission is free for for all. Enjoy kids’ games, dancing, family fun, a free concert by our amazing local band Fat In The Fire, food for sale by The Corner Station and more!
A silent auction will be an event highlight; you need to be present to win.
If you have new or like-new items to donate for the auction you can bring them to Mt. Pleasant City Hall (80 South 200 West, Mt Pleasant), during business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. Items may also be taken to the Nov. 15 event. Home and garden, farm items, yard art and tools are great donations.
All proceeds from the silent auction will go to the North Sanpete Veterans Memorial Park fund.
The future site of the North Sanpete Veterans Memorial Park is Highway 89 & E 700 South, Mt. Pleasant ( by the N.S.H.S. sign). Groundbreaking for the memorial was held on Oct 4. To find out more about the park visit their Facebook page at North Sanpete Veterans Memorial.
