This year’s homecoming theme, “Badger Routes,” was chosen by the college’s student body officers to highlight the spirit of tradition and nostalgia that the event inspires.

Homecoming festivities will span both the Ephraim and Richfield campuses during the week leading up to the big weekend.

Richfield Fall Festival

The celebration begins in Richfield on Friday, Oct. 10, with a lively Fall Festival from 4-9 p.m. on Main Street. In partnership with the city of Richfield, the event will feature live music, dancing, food vendors, and family-friendly activities designed to bring the college and the community together.

Parade, tailgate and Big Game in Ephraim

The main events shift to Ephraim on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The day will kick off with a homecoming parade at 4 p.m., circling the campus block and featuring student organizations, community groups, and Snow College traditions.

Following the parade, the tailgate party will take over the practice field with food, games, and activities for students, alumni, and families. The festivities will build excitement for the highlight of the weekend — the homecoming football game, as the Snow College Badgers face off against rival Iowa Western at 7 p.m. in Badger Stadium.

In addition, the alumni office will host special gatherings, including the Golden Badgers Reunion and the Distinguished Alumni event, giving former students a chance to reconnect and celebrate their shared history.

A time to reconnect

“We are excited to welcome alumni back to campus on October 11,” said Nathan Bradley, Snow College alumni relations officer. “Homecoming is more than just a weekend of events — it’s about reconnecting with friends, strengthening traditions, and inspiring the next generation to carry on the Snow College legacy.”
