GUNNISON — Global viral sensation and powerhouse performer Alex Boyé will bring his electrifying blend of “Africanized” pop, gospel energy, and soul-stirring originals to the Casino Star Theatre for two nights of live music on Oct. 24 and 25, at 7 p.m.
Known for his uplifting performances and magnetic stage presence, Boyé transforms every concert into a joyful celebration of rhythm, hope, and connection. Backed by a live band both nights, audiences can expect a high-energy show filled with vibrant vocals and inspirational moments that are impossible to sit still through.
Boyé first captured worldwide attention through his viral YouTube videos, amassing more than one billion views. His unique sound and message have landed him on major national platforms including “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Good Morning America,” “Fox & Friends,” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” A former member of The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and an “America’s Got Talent” alum, Boyé has shared the stage with stars like Jay-Z, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, George Michael, Justin Timberlake, Andra Day, and The Beach Boys. He also fulfilled a personal dream when he opened for Olivia Newton-John at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
In addition to his concerts, Boyé will share his inspirational message with local students at Gunnison Valley High School on Friday morning, Oct. 24. His “You Are a 10” presentation focuses on self-worth, resilience, and mental health awareness–topics he is deeply passionate about. A recipient of the Didi Hirsch Erasing the Stigma Award, Boyé serves as an ambassador for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In the past year alone, he delivered 102 school presentations across the country, reaching more than 96,000 students and educators.
Tickets for the Gunnison performances are available now at casinostartheatre.com, with a special Friends & Family offer that takes 20% off when purchasing four or more tickets for either night. No code is required — the discount automatically applies at checkout.
Fans can also enjoy an optional photo and meet-and-greet with Boyé at 6 p.m. both evenings across the street at The Gunnison House Inn. Admission for the meet-and-greet is $20 at the door. This portion of the evening is a separate event and not organized by the Casino Star Theatre Foundation.
