Wales Welsh Days planned June 26-27

The town of Wales will celebrate its history and the immigrants from the country of Wales who helped begin the Utah city during Welsh Days on Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27.

The town of Wales will celebrate its history and the immigrants from the country of Wales who helped begin the Utah city during Welsh Days on Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27.

This celebration is full of activities ranging from a strongman competition to a parade, a corn hole competition, an annual quilt giveaway and a day in the park with food and children’s activities.

Events are held at the Wales Town Park. The schedule is as follows:

Friday, June 26

Corn hole Competition: 5 p.m.

Potluck Dinner: 6:30 p.m.

Vendor booths, live music and dancing

Fireworks at dark

Saturday, June 27

Fun Run: Registration at 6:30 a.m., 7 a.m. start time

Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.

Parade: 9 a.m.

Strongman Competition: 10 a.m.

During the day: Vendor booths, concessions, kids games and pie-eating contest

Starting at $4.32/week.
