Brenda Gutke

1955 – 2022

She was born on November 10, 1955 and died on October 26, 2022. She was 66 years old.

She was married 4 times. Divorced 4 times. She left behind three children, Laine Jones (Michelle), Thomas Selman, and Chantel Selman (Walter). She had 3 beautiful grandchildren, Kira, Abby, Bella, and two great grandchildren. Sister, Debbie Bess (Dave) Brother, Tom Slaughter (Pam).

The highlights in her life were her children, and especially her grandchildren. She loved them so much!!

She was the entertainer of the family. Her stories left us all laughing with tears. She was very smart. Any job she had, she did to the best of her ability, with honesty and caring, leaving behind many friends for life. Her love for animals knew no bounds. She always had at least two or three in her care, if not more.

Her life was filled with many happy adventures and many sorrows. The road she chose to take in life was a hard one. She was beautiful, and so she took her beauty down the wide road and lived it. The consequences didn’t show up until later in life, and she was very regretful. Her relationships suffered, and her health was pretty much gone for the last 3 years of her life. But thank God for His intervention in her life! She found the Love of God, and His forgiveness, and started to realize that she could live the rest of her life living in His love and acceptance. She was baptized on September 6, 2022. It was one of the happiest days of her life. Even though she was scared of dying, she knew that Jesus would be waking her up from the grave in that last day, and taking her to Heaven, because she knew that He suffered and died just for her.

We are going to miss like crazy my beautiful, smart, spunky, hard headed, naughty, animal loving, caring, loving, and most of all, much loved baby sister.
