Beth June Bagley McArthur

Nov 16, 2022

1954 – 2022

Our extraordinary mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend Beth June Bagley McArthur, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 6, 2022, in her home in Provo, Utah. Beth to her friends, and June to her family, was 68. She was born on June 1, 1954, in Logan, Utah to Royal Anderson Bagley and Iris Mary Ellen Goodwin Bagley.

Beth June grew up in a strong, tight-knit family. She was the fifth of eight children. She graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1972 and married Randy Kay McArthur. As a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she treasured her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and her strong connection to her pioneer ancestors.

She loved to serve her family, friends, and had an exceptional gift for making friends; making others feel welcome, and lighting up the room with her warming smile. She was a hard-worker throughout her life, however, she most enjoyed being a home-health nurse and working with her friends in assisted living facilities. She considered co-workers as well as patients as friends. She simply wanted to make everyone feel welcomed and loved.

To us, she was Mom. We could count on her to give advice, a shoulder to cry on, a shared laugh, and course-correction for our lives when necessary. She had an unwavering testimony about Jesus Christ and the importance of the scriptures as guides for us throughout our lives. Her strong testimony assured her that she would see her parents and loved ones one day. Mom lived her life with the motto “Bloom where you’re planted.” She made the most of every situation good or bad knowing the Lord’s eternal perspective for each of was about being tried and tested throughout this mortal journey. Mom’s contagious optimism, ever-fighting attitude, charitable compassion, and unconditional love was shared with each of her children, family, and friends.

We love you, Mom and Grandma, and Great-Grandma! Thank you for always being our friend.

She is survived by her children, Ryan Randy McArthur (Melissa), Kyle Royal McArthur, Jennivee Ella Wohlwend (Justin), Brittany Beth Harward (Chanley), eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Her siblings Laura Blackham (Leonard), Bruce Bagley (Bonnie), Janice Nelson (Kay), Lynn Bagley (Marilyn), Darrel Bagley (Lori), Nathaniel âBobbyã Bowman (Shirley), and sister-in-law Jenna Bagley. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Roger Bagley, and her ex husband.
