Dorothy Ann Rosenlof

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Dorothy Ann Rosenlof passed away October 21, 2023. Dorothy was born June 28, 1955 to Glen and Mary Ellen Bailey.

She grew up in Moroni, Utah and attended North Sanpete High School where she met the love of her life, Mike Rosenlof. The two of them were married in the Manti Utah Temple on May 18, 1974. Dorothy and Mike lived in Mt. Pleasant, Utah together for 6 years. In 1980, they moved to Beaver, Utah where they purchased Alma’s Foodtown, and renamed it Mike’s Foodtown. In Beaver, they raised 4 children.

Dorothy was a woman of many talents and touched the hearts of many through her valiant church service. Some of her amazing talents include painting, crafts, scrapbooking, and planning the best Family Birthday Parties. Dorothy loved to play golf and spent countless days and hours playing with Mike. They enjoyed golfing together and traveling to many golf tournaments where they excelled in competing. Dorothy was an avid baseball fan, and many might agree she could be the Atlanta Braves Biggest Fan.

She is survived by her husband Mike Rosenlof; son, Kirt (Marrit) Rosenlof of Show Low, AZ; daughters Deann Rosenlof of Beaver, UT and Hiedi (Craig) Wright of Beaver, UT; and 8 grandchildren: Parker, Brooklynn, Corbin, Tegan, Hailee, Kayshlyn (Tyson), Clayson (Malayna), and Justice. She is survived by her sister Betty (Alan) Robinson of Springville, UT and brother Roger (Debra) Bailey of Moroni, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Mary Ellen Bailey, and her youngest daughter Mandee Rosenlof.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00am at the Beaver 3rd and 4th Ward Church (220 North Main, Beaver, Utah). Viewings will be held at the same location on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00pm and Saturday morning from 9:00 – 10:30am. Interment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
