Jerome Tod Hofmeister

Sep 20, 2023

1977 – 2023

In the early morning hours of September 3, 2023, Jerome Tod Hofmeister passed from this earthly journey, and on to his next adventure in heaven. He succumbed to the injuries he sustained from a tragic accident involving a horse on July 2, 2023. Jerome had a very quick wit and crazy sense of humor, he would probably say in regards to his accident that he should not have been horsing around. Jerome was born February 28, 1977 in Brigham City, Utah to his loving parents Donna & Elmer Hofmeister Jr. He is the youngest child of seven children; David (Becky), Jeff (Alesa), Heidi Jo Nelson (Brian), Kris (Lisa), Heather Simmons and Eric. He is the very proud father of JJ, Nicholas, Kaylin Heather, and Hannah Jo. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended school in Box Elder and Washington counties. In his youth he enjoyed singing and performing. He continued this love of singing throughout his life and often could be heard singing out to his favorite songs. He was a talented handyman leaving behind his craftsmanship for others to enjoy. He loved laughter and jokes, always the funny comedian. He loved the Pittsburg Steelers and flip-flops. He loved fishing and teaching his girls to catch big, huge fish. Most of all he loved his family and friends who will miss his smile, his hugs, his silly giggle and his love. He will also be missed very much by his nieces and nephews; Josh, Jason, Zack, Austin, Cheyenne, Britney, Jake, Katelyn, Kevin, Tessa, Blade, Brooklyn, Tyler, Maegan, Carson, Logan, Aiden and many great nieces and nephews. In heaven he will be greeted with open arms by those who have completed their own earthly journey and who he has missed so very much; (Mother) Donna, (Brother) Kris, (Sister) Heather, (Sister-In-Law) Becky, (Nephew) Austin, (Great Nephew) Titan, (Maternal Grandparents) Alma & Donald Thrash, (Paternal Grandparents) Fern & Elmer Hofmeister Sr.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that cared for Jerome @ Intermountain Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. The family would also like to express our sincere appreciation for all of Jerome’s friends and their outpouring of love, prayers and concern.

Until we see you again, we will laugh often and love always, this is not where it ends.
