Joseph Fuchsel

Apr 24, 2024

It is with deep sadness and great love that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved husband and brother, Joseph Fuchsel, in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 11th, 2024. Joe loves Jesus Christ and His gospel and lived an honest, sincere life. Joe grew up on his family farm in Minnesota and then served in the Marine Corps where he was converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in the Anaheim, California Mission and later in the Army National Guard. He loved liberty and was vice-chair for the Constitution Party in Sanpete County and precinct chair for Spring City. When he died he was running as the Constitution Party candidate for Utah House of Representatives, District 66. He was an active member of the community both in church and the local preparedness groups. He participated in veteran groups including serving as the commander of the American Legion, once in Orem and again in Mt. Pleasant. Joe loved gardening, healthy food and helping others.

He is survived by his dear wife, Audrey Jean Fuchsel, and his loving siblings from LaCrescent, MN (except as noted): John Fuchsel and Jacquelyn, Tom Fuchsel and Mary Ellen, Paul Fuchsel and Abby, Dan Fuchsel and Debbie, Ann Friedline and Dwight (The Villages, FL), Peter Fuchsel and Catherine, James Fuchsel and Kim, Joan Ezell and Larry (Grapevine, TX) and Ellen Speltz and John (deceased) – (Victoria, MN).

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, John Joseph and Mary Ann Fuchsel and brother Francis Fuchsel (stillborn).
