Jacquelyn “Jackie” Johansen

Dec 4, 2024

1974 – 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacquelyn “Jackie” Johansen, age 50, who passed away unexpectedly at her home in Fountain Green on November 21, 2024.

Jackie was born on March 22, 1974, and graduated in 1992 from North Sanpete High School. Over the years, she became well-known for her work ethic and dedicated spirit. Jackie spent more than 20 years working at Wendy’s, where she was loved and respected by her coworkers. Her commitment to her job and her dependability left a lasting impact on all those who knew her.

In her free time, Jackie enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She had a deep love for sunsets, often taking time to appreciate their beauty as she enjoyed long walks. Christmas songs always brought her joy, and she could be found sipping hot chocolate while watching her favorite chick flicks sitting next to her best friend and sister, Michelle.

You never saw Jackie without her sister. One of their favorite things to do together was sit in their car in Wendy’s parking lot after finishing a long shift to unwind and watch the bustle of life going on around them.

Jackie is survived by her sister, Michelle, Mother Lynette Cole, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Preceded in death by her father, Tommy Johansen, and Grandparents, Mont and NaDean Nielson.

A celebration of life was Monday December 2, 2024, in the Fountain Green Ward Church. Interment in the Fountain Green City Cemetery. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com.

Thank you to the Fountain Green 2nd Ward for providing the luncheon.
