Jan 31, 2024

1949 – 2024

Heather Darlene Williams, 74, of Mt Pleasant Utah, passed away on Thursday January 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Her funeral services will be held on Saturday February 3rd with a viewing starting at 11:30 AM and services to begin at 1:00 PM.

Heather was born on August 12, 1949 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to loving parents Ronald Eric Hirst and Doreen Mary Smith. Heather met her first husband Bob in 1971 and had 2 beautiful kids Dawn Marie Terry and Gregg Sterling Terry whom she loved, and worked hard as a single mom to raise them. Later in life she had the opportunity to travel the world with her kids and enjoyed seeing and living in Europe. Heather married the love of her life Jim Williams on April 25, 1996 and they spent many years in the outdoors camping and hunting, drinking morning coffee together, working at Wasatch Academy and just enjoying each other’s company.

Heather aka Gram enjoyed baking with grandchildren and great grandkids, knitting, animals/dogs, gardening, coloring, spending time with family and pets, and loved getting daily pictures of her great grandkids.

With her mom passing away at a young age Heather (16 years) helped raise her siblings, and from there on out was always caring and loving to all those who crossed her path. Heather was a friend, mom, sibling, and grandma to many individuals in the community, and anyone who needed one. She was the most forgiving individual. Her light and love will be missed, but we know her reunion with her loved ones who haven’t seen her in a while was beautiful. Her mom and dad, step mother Jan, sister Ronnie, son Gregg and too many pets to list.

She is survived by Danny Parsons, Tracie (Steve) Kennedy, Lynn Hirst, Jane Paraons, Marion Bartley, Eric (Kristen) Hirst, daughter Dawn (Ken) Fontaine, Grandchildren Joya (Dakoda) Burningham, Kayla (Brayden) Pantos, Haylee Terry, Great Grandchildren Brylie Pantos, Blake Pantos, Bella Pantos, Nasir Sandoval, Lakely Burningham, and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary with a viewing starting at 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com.
