After her retirement, she spent many hours doing Humanitarian work and volunteering at the Fairview Museum of History and Art. Nancy was a proud member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a member of a community art class where she perfected her painting skills. Nancy gave every one of her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren a painting she had done. Nancy loved being a mom. When asked once what she wanted to do when she “grew up,” she said she wanted to be a mom. Nancy was the best mom, always patient and kind. Nancy loved babies and children! She has 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Nancy also loved reading and was a member of various book clubs throughout the community. She also enjoyed working on family history, scrapbooks, and sewing. Nancy made countless millet bags for family and friends and always donated some at Christmas to the Festival of Trees. Nancy enjoyed traveling, especially going to National Parks.
