Carl was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was currently serving in the Manti Temple, his dream calling.

He is survived by his wife Kerri; his 8 children; 11 grandchildren, siblings Duane (Charlene), Larene High, Leroy, Merlin (Carla) Marlin (Renee); sisters-in-law, Maxine, Kristine and Susan. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Rachael, brothers Jay and Joe; brother-in-law Jim, sister Ina; sister-in-law Jean.

Carl’s family would like to thank EMS services and Sanpete County Dispatch for their prompt response and compassionate care during this difficult time.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wales Chapel (92 S 200 W). Viewingswere held Sunday February 8, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. prior to service both at the church. Interment in the Wales Town Cemetery.
