March 29, 1954 - May 20, 2026

Charles Warner Embleton II, age 72, of Fairview, Utah, passed away on May 20, 2026

Born on March 29, 1954, to Charles and Betty Embleton, Charles was the eldest of five children. He grew up learning to love knowledge and linguistics. He became fluent in Spanish, Latin, Hebrew, and Arabic. This passion stayed with him throughout his life, and he always inspired his children to read and pursue learning. He was also gifted with art and found great joy in classical music.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Coast Guard, demonstrating dedication and honor throughout his years of service.

Charles was a devoted husband to Amy, the love of his life, whom he married on October 17, 1975. He often expressed that he couldn’t have accomplished anything without her constant support, and she remained his favorite person. He was a loyal husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is the father of 11 children, two of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his nine living children and their families who were the center of his world. His greatest joy was sharing stories of ancestors and seeing his posterity.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Charles had a deep and abiding love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. He found strength and peace in the teachings of the restored gospel and looked forward with hope to the resurrection and eternal families.

Funeral services will be held under the direction of his family. Details will be shared as they become available.

Charles will be remembered as a man of quiet strength, unwavering faith, boundless love for his family, and a lifelong appreciation for knowledge, art, and music. He leaves behind a legacy of service and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

May his memory be a blessing, and may the Lord’s comfort rest upon his family and friends in the days ahead.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with family and friends gathering at 10:30 a.m., at the Fairview City Cemetery. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com.
