Player of the Year

Patrick Stevenson, Sr., F/MF, Lone Peak

Stevenson went out in the best way possible, logging a hat trick in the state championship. It was a fitting sendoff for the four-year starter who has played huge in his team’s overall success going back to his freshman year.

Offensive MVP

Trey Okey, Sr., F, Pleasant Grove

Okay proved to be the top scorer for the standout Vikings throughout the 2026 season. Okey shredded defenses throughout the year to the tune of 18 goals and 12 assists.

Defensive MVP

Kale Garner, Sr., D, Maeser Prep

Garner was simply dominant in his position throughout the year and a major reason for Maeser repeating as 2A state champions. He also provided good offensive punch, scoring his team’s go-ahead score in the state championship.

Keeper of the Year

Sam Parker, Sr., Lone Peak

Parker had six shutouts on the season and was a top reason for the Knight’s defensive success and indeed played pivotal in his team’s championship run.

Coaches of the Year

Kyle Hartman, Lone Peak and Dustin Simmons, Maeser Prep

In his first year as head coach, Hartman was perhaps the missing ingredient to promote the Knights to a state championship. Players responded well to him all season long, showing forth good teamwork throughout. Simmons, meanwhile, finished off an amazing 20-0 season and a second-straight state championship

2025 All-Valley Boys Soccer First Team

(in alphabetical order)

Ethan Antonio, Sr., GK, Maple Mountain

Antonio had a four shutouts on the season and played a central role in the state championship round, finishing off the season with his best play of the year.

Caleb Balch, Jr., F, Wasatch

Led the Wasps with 14 goals on the season and should be one of the top players in Utah County next season yet again.

Brooks Barker, Sr., F, Salem Hills

Barker was prolific throughout the season and ended it as the top scorer in the valley with his 21 goals scored on the season.

Ty Christensen, Sr., MF, Westlake

Christensen was a chief catalyst for the Thunder throughout the season, evidenced by his team-leading nine assists.

Jared Cortes, Sr., F, Provo

Cortes served as a team captain and led the Bulldogs with 12 goals while adding four assists.

Palmer Croshaw, Sr., D, Maple Mountain

Croshaw fulfilled a valuable leadership role as a team captain while providing top defense along the Golden Eagle’s back line.

Ace Downey, Sr., MF, Wasatch

Downey has helped lead the Wasps for a while now and ended his prep career with nine goals and eight assists.

Carter Egbert, Jr., MF, Maple Mountain

Egbert scored 15 goals to lead the Golden Eagles along with notching 38 total points, playing a big role in his team’s deep run in the state championships.

Corbin Gardner, Sr., MF, Maple Mountain

Paired extremely well with Egbert in the midfield for the Golden Eagles and contributed 10 goals as one of his team’s three captains.

Dylan Gutierrez, Jr., F, American Fork

Gutierrez led the Cavemen in scoring this year, notching six goals and 14 total points

Tony Haro, Sr., MF/F, Provo

Haro was a dynamic playmaker and scored 11 goals to go along with four assists last season.

Noah Johnson, Sr., F, Maeser Prep

Johnson was a force, scoring a team-leading 13 goals and contributing nine assists.

Jonas Lamont, Sr., FB, Lone Peak

Lamont provided stingy backend defense throughout the season and was a big reason for his team’s championship run.

Andrew Morgan, Sr., F, Westlake

Morgan finished off his career as the Thunder’s all-time leading scorer with his 13 goals scored during the 2026 season.

Joaquin Oberhansly, Sr., MF, Pleasant Grove

Oberhansky was a rock in the midfield for the Vikings and a team captain. He was a three-year starter for the Pleasant Grove and a big reason for its success.

Maximo Olmos, Sr., D, Pleasant Grove

Olmos was the premier defender for the Vikings during their remarkable undefeated regular season. The senior also contributed a goal and three assists.

Lewis Peterson, Sr., F, Timpanogos

Peterson spent his senior season scoring 16 goals and passing out 11 assists in his final season before playing for the Air Force Academy.

Mauricio Rondan, Sr., F, Pleasant Grove

Rondan was a prolific scorer, evidenced by his 14 net-finders on the season. Overall he paired brilliantly with Trey Okey in providing constant pressure on the opposition.

Denzel Sono-Koree, So., F, Maeser Prep

Sono-Koree was one of the most exciting players in the state, using his superior speed to notch 12 goals on the season with 10 assists.

Blake Stuart, Sr., MF, Lone Peak

Stuart controlled the midfield throughout Lone Peak’s championship run and scored five goals and had six assists.

Bryce Toole, Jr., GK, Skyridge

Toole proved to be one of the top goalkeepers in the state and was key for the Falcon’s standout defense throughout the season.

Lucas Turner, Sr., F, Timpanogos

Turner was a primary catalyst for the Timberwolves throughout the season and contributed 10 goals to go along with his nine assists.

Bentley was recognized as a top defender in Region 3

Senior leader had three goals

Scored seven goals and passed out four assists

Led the Knights with nine assists

A big key to Lone Peak’s attack and bright future ahead
