Notice is hereby given that the Sanpete County Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider a petition to amend the Sanpete County Land Use Ordinance and Zoning Map.

The proposed amendment is as follows:

Gary Arnoldson, David Alphin, Paul Beckstead and Douglas Garritson own or hold approximately eighty three acres of property northeast of Mt. Pleasant that presently are located and designated as Sensitive Lands and designated as parcel numbers 22502, 22502x, 22502×1, 22500×7, 22500×8 and 22500×10.

These owners are requesting to change the zoning designation of these acres to Agricultural zoned (A-Zone). Nearly all the affected property is presently used for agricultural purposes and is adjacent to land already designated as the Agricultural zone.

Anyone objecting to the proposed plat change must file a written objection with the Sanpete County Clerks Office at the Sanpete County Courthouse within 10 days of the date of this Notice.

A public hearing has been scheduled at the Sanpete County Commission Chambers in the Sanpete County Courthouse on the 18th day of August 2015, at 2:45 p.m.
