NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Sanpete County Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on July 19th, 2016 on several proposed amendments to the Sanpete County Land Use Ordinance.
The public hearing will be at 2:50 p.m., at the Sanpete County Courthouse at 160 North Main, Manti, Utah. The specific proposed amendments are as follows:
A.The Planning Commission’s proposed amendments with respect to organization changes and additions to Title 14 of the Sanpete County Land Use Ordinance as follows:
a.With reference to section 14.24.010 “Zones Designated,” the Planning Commission proposes adding “IN Industrial Zone,” to the list of potential County zoning areas.
b.With reference to section 14.24.030 “Regulations,” the Planning Commission proposes changing the distance reference within the present text from one half (1) mile to “proposed land uses located within one (1) mile of an incorporated municipality.”
c.With reference to section 14.51.020 “Table of Standards,” the Planning Commission proposes amending the present area requirements from requiring a ten (10) acre minimum acreage reduced to three (3) acres when the property is located within a municipality’s RA Zone (Buffer Zone).
d.With reference to section 14.51.020 “Table of Standards,” the Planning Commission proposes adding under the “Density – Public Access Frontage and Road Width requirements the following language: “and the road width may be reduced to thirty (30) feet for a single lot development with a fifty (50) foot wide entrance.”
