FOUNTAIN GREEN– Michael B. Johnson, 65, Fountain Green, passed away Oct. 4, 2016, at his home.

Our loving son and brother, Mike, was born Feb. 28, 1951, to Chesley and Berneitta Johnson in Nephi.

Mike attended the public schools in North Sanpete School District. After graduation from high school, he moved to Salt Lake and worked there for two years. He missed living in Sanpete County and returned to Fountain Green where he made his home for 45 years.

Mike worked at the turkey processing plant in Moroni for 15 years. He then took a job at Kimo’s Camera, Nephi, before moving to the Nature Sunshine Company, Spanish Fork, where he worked for 16 years. Mike made many friends at his employment in Spanish Fork, Moroni and Nephi.

Mike loved to travel; he also had a passion for old cars, photography, music and visiting with family and friends.

Since his retirement, Mike has been the caregiver for his mother. Mike will certainly be missed by family and close acquaintances.

Mike is survived by his mother, Berneitta Johnson, Fountain Green; two brothers, Keith (Lois) Johnson, Spanish Fork; and Gary (SueAnn) Johnson, Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Chesley Johnson.

Funeral services were held Oct. 8, in the Fountain Green LDS Ward.

Interment was in the Fountain Green Cemetery.
