MANTI — Giant Mummies and Ancient Records: Exploring the Saga of Brewer Cave will be the subject of a special presentation to be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 22 in the Eva Beale Auditorium, 50 South Main Street, Manti.

Utahna Jessop, from Ancient Historical Research Foundation, will tell the story of John Brewer, who discovered a cave 60 years ago in central Utah that contained stone boxes, ancient records and giant mummies.

Jessop will also delve into Brigham Young and Isaac Morley: The ancients of Sanpete Valley; radiocarbon dating, academia and unanswered questions; Utah’s giant skeletons and hidden history of America; hidden secrets of the Manti LDS Temple hill; North American ancient records on metal plates; did LDS Church authorities want control of Brewer Cave; what role did Mark E. Peterson play in the Brewer Cave saga; and who were the giants, were they the Jaredites of the Book of Mormon.
