Here are the top girls lacrosse players in the Utah Valley area in 2023:

Player of the Year

Maddie Potvin, Sr., Lone Peak

Potvin led the 6A state champs in scoring with 63 goals and 19 assists for 82 points. She converted 55% of her shots. She also contributed 22 ground balls and caused ten turnovers for the 6A state champions. 

Offensive MVP

Karlie Fiedler, Sr., Lehi 

Fiedler pushed the Pioneers to an undefeated regular season, a No. 2 seed and the 5A quarterfinals by becoming a huge threat on the offensive end. She finished the season with 102 points, totaling 91 goals and 11 assists, converting 53% of her shots.  

Goalie MVP

Ellie Fuller, Sr. GK, Lone Peak 

Fuller put together a terrific senior season capped by two clutch stops in the final seconds of the 6A state title win against Mountain Ridge. She had a 6.7 goals against average with 126 saves and posted a 17-2 record between the pipes. 

Coach of the Year

Weslie Lundell, Lone Peak 

Lundell took a senior-laden team that had experienced three straight years of disappointment and led them to a thrilling last-second victory in the 6A state title game. 

FIRST TEAM 

Eliza Agate, So., Lone Peak 

Agate scored 43 points (34 goals, 9 assists) and converted 56% of her shots. She led her team with 75 draw controls as well. 

Lauren Bauer, Sr., Provo 

Bauer scored 44 goals and dished our seven assists in her senior season for the Bulldogs. 

Eliza Berg, Jr., Pleasant Grove 

Berg was a scoring machine for the Vikings with 63 goals and 19 assists (82 points). 

Mickelle Cook, Sr., Lone Peak 

Cook was the second leading scorer for the Knights with 63 points (48 goals, 15 assists). 

Grace Erker, Sr., Wasatch 

Erker led the Wasps with 76 total points, including 72 goals and four assists, in 2023. 

Sammi Gallman, Sr., Maple Mountain 

Gallman was a strong offensive threat for the Golden Eagles with 27 goals and seven assists. 

Elise Griffin, Jr., Maple Mountain 

Griffin led the Golden Eagles with 30 goals and seven assists for 37 points in a balanced offense. 

Ginger Hale, Sr., Lehi 

Hale scored 47 points for the Pioneers, with 36 goals and 11 assists on the season. 

Karali Harris, Sr., Springville 

Harris carried a big offensive load for the Red Devils with 50 goals and 10 assists for 60 points. 

Morgan Jacobson, Jr., Payson 

Jacobson led the Lions on the offensive end with 52 points (47 goals, 5 assists). 

Corinne Jones, Sr., Lone Peak 

Jones scored 55 points, netting 34 goals and 21 assists for the Knights. 

Camree Kenison, Jr., Lehi 

Kenison was the second-leading scorer for the Pioneers with 64 points (46 goals, 18 assists). 

Kate Lewis, Sr., Wasatch (GK) 

Lewis allowed just 6.0 goals per game (107) with 144 saves and a save percentage of .573. 

Ellee Scott, Sr., Provo 

Scott led the Bulldogs in scoring with 97 points (68 goals, 29 assists). 

Lauren Siri, Sr., Lone Peak 

Siri was a key player for the Knights, scoring 30 points (22 goals, 8 assists) 

Abby Stringham, Jr., Maple Mountain (GK)

Stringham allowed 5.4 goals per game (68) with 98 saves and a save percentage of .590. 

Charity Whitehead, So., Lehi (GK)

Whitehead was tough in goal with 88 goals against (5.2 per game) and 78 saves. 

Annalee Wright, Jr., Cedar Valley 

Wright led the Aviators with 68 points, scoring 57 goals and dishing out 11 assists. 

SECOND TEAM 

Kaia Anderson, So., Wasatch 

Anderson finished with 25 points (22 goals, 3 assists) in 2023. 

Alexis Atkin, Jr., Lehi 

Atkin scored 31 points as a junior, with 23 goals and eight assists. 

Madilyn Floyd, So., Pleasant Grove (GK)

Floyd allowed 174 goals (9.3) with 143 saves and a save percentage of .451. 

Belecia Gonzales, Sr., Provo 

Gonzales had 28 goals and 13 assists this season for a total of 41 points. 

Liesel Hansen, Jr., Maple Mountain 

Hansen scored 16 goals and added two assists for 18 points in 2023. 

Ryann Hatch, Fr., Orem 

Hatch made a big splash as a freshman, scoring 55 goals and adding five assists for 60 points. 

Tessa Jamison, Fr., Skyridge 

Jamison made a big impact in her first varsity season with 21 goals and three assists (24 points). 

Bre Jardine, Sr., Payson 

Jardine had 27 goals and three assists (30 points) for the Lions her senior season. 

McKinley Jorgensen, Sr., Provo 

Jorgensen went out with a bang in her senior season with 45 points (28 goals, 17 assists). 

Mia Knight, Sr., Timpview 

Knight scored 49 goals and added 10 assists for a total of 59 points for the T-Birds. 

Kate Lunt, Sr., Provo 

Lunt was a model of consistency with 19 goals and nine assists for the Bulldogs. 

Katrina Maddox, Jr., Lone Peak 

Maddox scored 27 points for the Knights on 22 goals and five assists. She also tallied the winning goal in the state championship game with less than a minute to play. 

Mylee McAllister, Sr., Lehi 

McAllister was a strong senior leader with 18 goals and 19 assists for 37 points this season. 

Sadie Neuenschwander, So., Lone Peak 

She scored 30 points for the Knights, totaling 21 goals and nine assists for the season. 

Lauren Robertson, Jr., Timpview 

Robertson led the T-Birds with 61 points on 42 goals and 19 assists. 

Syndey Shultz, So., Pleasant Grove 

Shultz had 40 goals and 10 assists for 50 points in her sophomore season. 

Eliza Smedley, Sr., Wasatch 

Smedley scored 21 goals this season for the Wasps. 

Bethany Smith, Sr., Timpview 

Smith had a well-rounded offensive game with 36 goals and 23 assists (59 points). 

Emery Stohlton, So., Cedar Valley 

Stohlton had 51 goals as a sophomore, along with eight assists for 59 points. 

Kate Sybrowsky, Sr., Timpview (GK) 

Sybrowski gave up 134 goals (9.0) with 148 saves and a save percentage of .524 for the T-Birds. 

Ella Welsch, Jr., Springville 

Welsch had 32 goals and 10 assists for the Red Devils, finishing with 42 points. 

Brooke Wright, Sr., Lone Peak 

Wright was a steady senior for the Knights in their championship run. 

Taylor Yee, So., Maple Mountain 

Yee made an impact with 18 goals and 11 assists as a sophomore. 

Carol Yost, Jr., Payson 

Yost added 30 goals and eight assists (38 points) for the Lions. 

Morgan Zabriskie, Sr., Springville 

Zabriskie finished with 28 goals and six assists for 34 points in 2023.
