Here’s a look at our Utah Valley Top 5 rankings for baseball, softball, boys soccer, girls lacrosse and boys lacrosse for this week:

BASEBALL

1. Salem Hills (16-3)

Junior catcher Roper Kay hitting .474 for Skyhawks.

2. American Fork (13-4)

Ryder Robinson’s slugging percentage (.933) is stunning.

3. Timpanogos (18-4)

Chase Riggs (6-0, 1.48 ERA) and Billy Bird (5-0, 1.55 ERA) rule the mound.

4. Skyridge (11-4)

Junior Ike Pickle (.520) is a problem for the opposition.

5. Orem (14-8)

Tigers have won 12 games in a row after slow start.

SOFTBALL

1. Spanish Fork (17-2)

The Dons dropped a close one to Bear River and now faces another test as they play at rival Springville on Tuesday.

2. Skyridge (19-2)

The Falcons have to know that Pleasant Grove wants to avenge its earlier defeat when the two teams play on Tuesday.

3. Pleasant Grove (18-3)

The Vikings will be ready for state after taking on Riverton and Skyridge on back-to-back days.

4. Springville (16-4)

This is the one the Red Devils have been waiting for as they get to host Spanish Fork.

5. Lehi (15-9)

The Pioneers face one more non-league test when they host Mountain Ridge on Friday.

BOYS SOCCER

1. Lone Peak (13-0)

The Knights likely will make it through the regular season undefeated, which is always impressive.

2. Orem (12-1)

The Tigers have pretty much secured the Region 8 title, but can’t let up with the playoffs looming.

3. Wasatch (10-1)

The Wasps have come back strong after getting upset early and will be tough to beat at state.

4. Skyridge (9-4)

The Falcons are close but just aren’t quite consistent enough to be elite right now.

5. Lehi (8-5)

The Pioneers want to finish strong against Mountain View and Timpview.

GIRLS LACROSSE

1. Lehi (13-0)

Unbeaten Pioneers will host a good Alta team on Thursday.

2. Lone Peak (11-1)

Knights are rolling, have won 10 in a row.

3. Maple Mountain (7-1)

Golden Eagles upset by Payson for first loss.

4. Wasatch (6-3)

Wasps battle Payson for big one on Wednesday.

5. Payson (8-4)

Lions have won three of past four matches.

BOYS LACROSSE

1. American Fork (8-2)

The Cavemen can’t think about the loss to Westlake with a battle at Corner Canyon coming on Tuesday.

2. Westlake (12-4)

The Thunder got some huge momentum by defeating American Fork.

3. Timpview (8-4)

The Thunderbirds weren’t good enough to knock off Alta but are still dangerous.

4. Lone Peak (8-5)

The Knights ended up with the expected split last week but still feel like they can be better.

5. Cedar Valley (9-6)

Can the Aviators continue their strong play heading into May?
