The Utah Jazz announced today the local television, streaming, and radio broadcast schedule for their 2023-24 NBA season, bringing comprehensive game coverage to Jazz fans on KJZZ-TV, the newly launched Jazz+ streaming service, The KSL Sports Zone, and The Utah Jazz Radio Network.

For the first time, fans can choose whether to watch game broadcasts in English or Spanish. This is the 14th consecutive season the Jazz have carried a Spanish-language radio broadcast, and, starting with the season opener on Oct. 25, fans who subscribe to Jazz+ can select their preference of English- or Spanish-language TV commentary during live game streams.

New ways to watch this season

This season, fans across Utah can watch live games on both KJZZ – channel 14, “The Home of the Utah Jazz” – and Jazz+, the team’s newly launched direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service. Both platforms will air the team’s five preseason games, which begin Oct. 8, as well as all regular season games, with the exception of any national exclusives, starting with their season opener on Oct. 25 at Delta Center against the Sacramento Kings.

KJZZ and Jazz+ will also carry three of the team’s four games in the group stage of the NBA’s new In Season Tournament, also known as NBA Cup, including at Memphis on Nov. 10 and at home against Portland on Nov. 14 and Phoenix on Nov. 17. The team’s final In Season Tournament group stage matchup, at the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 21, will be an exclusive national broadcast on TNT. Broadcast rights for Utah Jazz games in the later stages of the In Season Tournament will be determined if the Jazz qualify beyond the group stage.

The Jazz game against the Denver Nuggets at Delta Center on Jan. 10 will be broadcast on ESPN and available for national audiences and locally on KJZZ. The game will begin at 8:00 p.m. MT.

Jazz games will be televised in high definition on KJZZ and fans can watch utilizing an over-the-air antenna or through local cable and satellite providers that carry the channel such as Comcast, DirecTV, and DISH.

After each game that airs on KJZZ, the Utah Jazz Instant Replay will immediately rebroadcast the game so fans can catch any action they missed.

Jazz+ is the newest viewing option for the local market, inviting fans to stream every available Utah Jazz game as it happens, utilizing the live KJZZ feed, or watch the action at their leisure through an on-demand option. Jazz+ subscriptions can be purchased at utahjazz.com/jazzplus, and once fans have subscribed, they can log into Jazz+ at utahjazzplus.com to watch every live game and catch other content from internet-connected devices. Jazz+ will be accessible through several SmartTV apps beginning in late October.

The Utah Jazz local broadcast market includes the entire state, plus most zip codes in Idaho and Wyoming that are within 150 miles of Delta Center. Out-of-market fans can watch every Jazz game by purchasing a subscription to NBA League Pass. For the full list of viewing options, visit utahjazz.com/broadcast.

2023-24 season broadcast talent

The trio of Craig Bolerjack, Thurl Bailey, and Holly Rowe will once again anchor the Jazz television broadcast team for play-by-play and commentary this season. Bolerjack is an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster in his 19th season as the play-by-play voice of the Jazz. He is joined by Bailey, who is in his 22nd season as a Jazz broadcaster. Rowe – a Utah native who was recently awarded the 2023 Curt Gowdy Electronic Media Award by the Basketball Hall of Fame – enters her third season with the Jazz, while continuing her 26-year career as an ESPN/ABC commentator.

Alema Harrington, a 25-plus year broadcast veteran, returns for his 14th season to the Jazz pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows, which will air live on both KJZZ and Jazz+. He will be joined by analyst Mike Smith, who is entering his sixth season with Utah and 25th overall as a broadcaster in the NBA.

For radio listeners, the KSL Sports Zone (97.5 FM) and the Utah Jazz Radio Network will air all Jazz games and will simulcast close to 30 regular season games and any Jazz playoff games on broadcast powerhouse KSL NewsRadio (1160 AM/102.7 FM), which will provide a boost with its maximum powered 50,000-watt regional radio coverage. David Locke begins his 15th season calling Jazz games, and Ron Boone, who is starting his 36th season with the franchise, once again serves as radio analyst. Jake Scott will host the Jazz pre-game, halftime, and post-game radio shows along with former BYU assistant coach Tim LaComb.

Continuing the Spanish broadcast tradition

Nelson Moran will return as the Spanish language host for all regular season games and will be joined by Isidro Lopez, play-by-play commentator, and analysts Dan Clayton and Carlos Artiles. The broadcast will be live on Latino 106.3 FM (KBMG) and fans with Jazz+ subscriptions can select their preference of English- or Spanish-language TV commentary during a live game stream.

Listeners can also tune in to the originating coverage from The Zone online with NBA.com Audio League Pass, the Utah Jazz App, and the KSL Sports App.
