What’s Up? This will be the first-ever meeting between Oklahoma and UCF. … The Sooners rank first in the country in turnover margin (+1.83) and is tied for second with Iowa State in interceptions (12).

What’s Up? Jonathon Brooks leads Texas with 726 yards rushing on 108 carries (6.7 yards per carry) and six touchdowns. … The Longhorns lead the overall series with Houston 16-7-2, with the last meeting a 41-11 Longhorns victory at Austin in 2002.
3. TCU (4-3, 2-2 Big 12)
Last results: Making his first start at quarterback, redshirt freshman Josh Hoover was 37 of 58 for 439 yards and four touchdowns to lead TCU to a 44-11 rout of BYU.

What’s Up? Hoover was named Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against BYU. … Kansas State leads the overall series with TCU 9-8-0, with the Wildcats having won four of the past five meetings.
4. Kansas State (4-2, 2-1 Big 12)
Last results: Freshman quarterback Avery Johnson ran for five touchdowns, a first in college football this season, as Kansas State rolled past Texas Tech 38-21.

What’s Up? Johnson rushed for 91 yards to go along with his five TDs, while throwing for 77 yards on 8 of 9 attempts. … Kansas State and TCU split two games last season, with the Horned Frogs winning 38-28 during the regular season and the Wildcats claiming a 31-28 win in the Big 12 Championship Game.
5. Iowa State (4-3, 3-1 Big 12)
Last results: Rocco Becht threw for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead Iowa State to a 30-10 victory at Cincinnati.

What’s Up? Jayden Higgins caught six passes for 172 yards, including a 75-yarder, in Iowa State’s win at Cincinnati. … The Cyclones are off until Oct. 28, when they will travel to Baylor.
6. Oklahoma State (4-2, 2-1 Big 12)
Last results: Trailing 32-24 early in the third quarter, Oklahoma State scored 16 straight points, with three field goals from Alex Hale, in a 39-32 upset of No. 23 Kansas.

What’s Up? Oklahoma State has posted back-to-back games without committing a turnover for the first time since Oct. 23-30, 2021. … The Cowboys lead the overall series with West Virginia 9-5-0.
7. Kansas (5-2, 2-2 Big 12)
Last results: Jason Bean passed for 410 yards and five touchdowns with two interceptions as No. 23 Kansas lost to Oklahoma State 39-32.

What’s Up? Mason Fairchild (5 catches, 95 yards, two TDs) and Quentin Skinner (2 catches, 91 yards, 2 TDs) were Bean’s favorite targets against Oklahoma State. … The Jayhawks are idle until Oct. 28, when they will host Oklahoma.
8. West Virginia (4-2, 2-1 Big 12)
Last results: Garett Green connected with Hudson Clement for a fourth-down 50-yard touchdown pass with 12 seconds to play to give the Mountaineers a 39-35 lead but Houston made good on a Hail Mary as time expired to earn a 41-39 victory.

What’s Up? The Mountaineers were 13 of 19 on third downs against Houston. … West Virginia’s 24-19 victory last season in Stillwater broke a seven-game winning streak in the series for Oklahoma State.
9. Texas Tech (3-4, 2-2 Big 12)
Last results: Tahj Brooks ran 17 times for 98 yards and a touchdown for Texas Tech in a 38-21 loss to Kansas State.

What’s Up? The Red Raiders’ 99-yard scoring drive against Kansas State was their first since Sept. 8, 2012 against Texas State. … Texas Tech won the only previous meeting with BYU, earning a 21-20 victory at Lubbock in 1940.
10. BYU (4-2, 1-2 Big 12)
Last results: BYU surrendered a pick-six on its opening possession and 584 yards of offense to TCU in a 44-11 loss in Fort Worth.

What’s Up? The Cougars stopped TCU on fourth down in the first half to improve its fourth down defense to allowing just 2 of 8 this year, ranked No. 4 in the country in percentage (.250). … The 33-point loss to TCU was the second-worst in the Kalani Sitake era, second only to a 40-6 defeat at the hands of Wisconsin in 2017.
