BYU’s 2024 Big 12 women’s soccer schedule mixes three new opponents, three straight home games and three straight on the road.

The Big 12 Conference released the schedule on Monday. Entering their second season as Big 12 members, the Cougars will play 11 conference matches over a seven-week period, spanning from mid-September through late-October. The Cougars will play three new Big 12 teams during conference play: Arizona State, Arizona and Utah.

BYU won’t play new member Colorado, West Virginia, UCF or Cincinnati during the regular season.

The Cougars begin their conference schedule with a home game against Arizona State on Sept. 12. After hosting the Sun Devils, BYU travels to TCU on Sept. 19 before returning home for three games on South Field against Utah (Sept. 23), Oklahoma State (Sept. 26) and Iowa State (Sept. 30).

BYU then plays its next three games on the road, at Arizona on Oct. 4, at Kansas on Oct. 10 and at Kansas State on Oct. 14.

The Cougars return home for a pair of matches on South Field, with battles against Baylor on Oct. 17 and Houston on Oct. 21.

A trip to Texas to face Texas Tech on Oct. 25 will be the final game of the regular season for the Cougars.

After the regular season concludes, the Cougars will compete in the Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship tournament, beginning Oct. 30 in Kansas City, Missouri. The NCAA Tournament bracket will be announced in November.

Game times and broadcast information for conference games will be released at a later date, as will BYU’s preseason schedule.

The Cougars finished 20-3-3 in 2023, advancing to the Women’s College Cup before losing to Stanford 2-0 in the semifinals. It will be a rebuilding year as BYU lost 11 seniors, five of which who were selected in the National Women’s Soccer League draft: Brecken Mozingo (Utah Royals FC, No. 4 overall), Olivia Smith-Griffitts (Utah Royals FC, No. 20), Olivia Wade-Katoa (Portland Thorns FC, No. 23), Jamie Shepherd (Bay FC, No. 30) and Laveni Vaka (Bay FC, No. 55).
