Player of the Year: Jo Norman, Sr., P, Salem Hills

Dominant throughout the season, Norman was at her very best during the Skyhawk’s championship run late in the season. She finished 26-2 with a 2.22 ERA, 149 strikeouts and just 20 walks in 154.2 innings of work. The senior pitcher came through huge when her team’s bats went relatively quiet and was unquestionably the top player in the Valley for 2026.

Pitcher MVP: Allyx Haveron, Sr., P, Springville

Haveron was a big reason for the Red Devil’s deep run in the state tournament as her team’s top pitcher. Overall she pitched for a 3.18 ERA and struck out 115 batters against just 51 walks. She also proved big at the plate, slugging 13 home runs and knocking in a team-leading 42 runs.

Offensive MVP: Lia Higginson, Sr. OF, Spanish Fork

Higginson led the entire state in RBI, slugging 75 on the season while hitting 14 home runs and another 14 doubles. She also hit for a very high average of .552 making her a relatively easy choice for the All-Valley Offensive MVP for 2026.

Defensive MVP: Emmery Wilson, Jr., C, Salem Hills

Wilson’s offensive stats are eye-popping, considering her .564 batting average on top of 14 home runs hit and 56 RBI. But as good as Wilson was from the plate she was at least as good behind it, contributing heavily to Jo Norman’s overall success.

Coach of the Year: Kalab Stokes, Salem Hills

Stokes wins the award for the second straight season due to setting forth another standout offseason that this time culminated into a state championship. Salem Hills has risen to become one of the premier programs in the state due to his direction.
