BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier scores a touchdown against TCU in a Big 12 football game at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.

The BYU drive chart against TCU Saturday night early in the fourth quarter was so pretty: Seven possessions, seven scores.

That’ll do.

The Cougars had a dominating performance against the Horned Frogs, rolling on offense (448 total yards) and slowing down one of the nation’s top passing attacks.

Bear Bachmeier recovered from his poor showing last week at Texas Tech, completing 23 of 33 for 296 yards and a touchdown while rushing for another score. LJ Martin carried the ball 21 times for 88 yards and a score and tight end Carsen Ryan also shined, with four catches for 79 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown.

TCU’s Josh Hoover came into the game sixth in the country in yards passing per game (298.9) and finished just 10 of 23 for 183 yards.

The Cougars also came up with two interceptions, one by Faletau Satuala and a pick-six for senior safety Tanner Wall.

BYU (9-1 overall, 6-1 Big 12) makes its final road trip of the regular season to Cincinnati next week.
