The Westlake competitive cheerleading team had a lot to celebrate Thursday night.

After performing in the show, sideline cheer and dance competitions of the state finals at the UCCU Center in Orem, the Thunder had the highest score and won the 2024 6A state championship in the co-ed division.

Lehi also in the all-girl competition and ended up fourth overall. Corner Canyon won the state title in the division.

The 4A and 5A state competitive cheer finals will take place on Friday at the UCCU Center in Orem.
