FOOTBALL

Tigers sluggish in opener but six different players found the end zone.
2. Lone Peak (1-0)
Knights face off with Orem on Friday in battle of Valley’s top two teams.
3. Lehi (1-0)
Devaughn Eka with three rushing TD’s against Maple Mountain.
4. Provo (1-0)
Crew DeMartini caught 96-yard TD pass from Gehrig Orchard in win.
5. Skyline (1-0)
Kaneel Sweetwyne with five TD passes to five different receivers in Game 1.

GIRLS SOCCER
1. Lone Peak (4-0)
The Knights keep on winning, but received scares in tight victories over Olympus and Park City
2. Lehi (5-1)
The Pioneers enter the rankings on the heels of an impressive three-game win streak versus some top Nevada schools
3. Springville (3-1)
The Red Devils scored two big wins over top 6A competition, including a 2-1 victory over Skyridge
4. Timpview (3-1)
The Thunderbirds didn’t allow a goal last week in their 2-0 wins over both Provo and Alta, respectively
5. American Fork (2-1)
Freshman Avery Walbruch scored yet again in the Cavemen’s impressive 3-0 win over Maple Mountain

Knights have great 1-2 offensive punch with Burgess and Rich.

Timpanogos transfer Nikki Webb will help in the middle.

Falcons have big showdown with Orem on Tuesday.
4. Lehi (2-0)
Sophomore Aliya Shewell with 24 kills in first two matches.
5. Mountain View (5-0)
Bruins off to fast start with five sweeps.
