BOYS BASKETBALL
1. Timpview 5-0
The Thunderbirds established themselves as the team to beat in Utah County with a 62-60 win over American Fork
2. Westlake 3-0
The Thunder have won their first three games of the season by impressive margins
3. American Fork 1-2
The Cavemen have struggled early versus tough competition, most notably Timpview and Bingham
4. Lone Peak 2-1
Top recruit Crew Fotheringham has led the way early for the Knights
5. Orem 3-2
The Tigers have taken their lumps through a brutal early season schedule

1. Pleasant Grove 4-0
Vikings have won first four games by an average of 35 points.
2. Maple Mountain 3-0
Leah Bailey off to a sizzling start for the Golden Eagles (26 ppg).
3. Lone Peak 2-1
Knights are on a “Drive for 5” state titles.
4. Skyridge 2-0
Lily Grant a playmaker in two sports (volleyball and basketball).
5. Wasatch 3-0
Wasps have good size and experience in Class 5A.
