2025 All-Valley Football
Player of the Year: Lopeti “Juni” Moala, 6-4 265 Sr. DE, Orem
Moala was a stunningly dominant defensive presence, finishing with 23 sacks and 32 tackles for loss, finishing with 83 tackles (40 solo) and 12 quarterback hurries. He also caught one touchdown pass for the eventual 5A state champs and will play his college ball at BYU.
Offensive MVP: Kaneal Sweetwyne, 6-4 205 Sr. QB, Skyridge
Sweetwyne started off hot, accouting for 23 touchdowns (19 passing, four rushing) in the Falcons first four games. Sweetwyne led Skyridge to the 6A state semifinals and finished 228 of 343 (66%) for 32 touchdowns (with 15 interceptions) while rushing for 907 yards on 133 carries (6.8 per carry) and 14 more scores. He signed to play at North Carolina State.
Defensive MVP: Tua Naufahu, 6-1 235 Sr. RB/DE, Springville
In a sport with big, tough guys, nobody was tougher or more effective than Naufahu. On defense, he finished with 135 tackles (77 solo) with 18.5 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks. He also rushed for 901 yards on 115 carries (7.8 yards per carry) and scored 14 touchdowns, adding four catches for 76 yards and three more scores.
Coach of the Year: Lance Reynolds Jr., Orem
The Tigers had plenty of talent, for sure, but getting that talent to sacrifice and buy in isn’t always easy. At one point Orem was 1-2 but won 11 in a row to claim the 5A state title.
First Team All-Valley
Prince Afu Sr. RB, American Fork
Afu was a steady producer for the Cavemen, gaining 924 yards on 184 carries (five yards per carry) and ten touchdowns while adding 18 catches for 88 yards.
Kaue Akana Sr. WR/DB, Orem
Despite missing some early games with an injury, the BYU signee was an effective two-way player for the Tigers. He finished with 587 yards and ten touchdowns on 36 catches (16.3 per reception) while adding 21 tackles and three tackles for loss.
Ian Aloisio Jr. OL, Timpview
Aloisio was voted the top lineman in Region 7 by the league’s coaches.
Anders Anderson Jr. OL, Skyridge
Anderson was a anchor for an offensive line that produced 5,183 total yards.
Levi Christley Sr. OL, Spanish Fork
Christley was a three-year starter on the offensive line for the Dons.
Devaughn Eka Sr. RB, Lehi
The powerful and BYU signee Eka finished with 1038 rushing yards on 148 carries (seven yards per carry) with 13 touchdowns along with 32 catches for 322 yards and four more scores.
Malik Filimoe’atu Sr. RB, Provo
Filimoe’atu was a mainstay on the ground for the Bulldogs, ending up with 1,043 yards and 16 touchdowns on 215 carries.
Boston Fountaine Sr. QB, Westlake
Fountaine was a threat with every snap for the Thunder, finishing 184 of 334 (55%) for 3,006 yards, 29 touchdowns and just three interceptions, adding four more scores on the ground.
Aisa Galea’i, Sr. RB/DB, Orem
Galea’i was one of the most versatile players in the state and scored three times (a run, an interception and a kickoff return) in the 5A state championship game. He finished with 518 yards rushing on 39 carries (13.3 per carry) and eight touchdowns plus 12 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Galea’i totaled 51 tackles (31 solo) with five tackles for loss and three interceptions.
Legend Glasker Sr. WR, Lehi
Glasker — who will join his teammate Eka at BYU — was one of the valley’s most explosive players, catching 37 passes for 676 yards (18.2 per catch) and nine touchdowns while rushing for 206 yards and scoring twice on the ground.
Tony Grimmer Sr. LB, Lone Peak
Grimmer was a ball hawk for the Knights, totaling 135 tackles (79 solo) with 12 tackles for loss and two interceptions.
Zach Henderson Sr. WR, Springville
The speed Henderson was a threat whenever he touched the ball. He had six touchdowns on just 20 catches and 560 yards receiving. Defensively, he led the Red Devils with six interceptions and had four return touchdowns.
Spencer Hopkins 6-7 285 Sr. OL, Salem Hills
The 6-foot-7, 285-pound Hopkins was a team captain, did not give up a sack and was credited with 23 pancake blocks.
Tayden Ka’awa Sr. QB, Orem
Ka’awa, who signed with Alabama, put up 2,503 yards passing with 34 touchdowns and eight interceptions, completing 60% of his throws while adding 249 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Jesse King Sr. DE, Timpanogos
King was a menace for the Timberwolves, notching 32 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks to go along with 76 tackles (50 solo).
Mosese Kinkini Sr. OL, Provo
Kinikini was the heart and soul of Provo’s big and talented offensive line.
Easton Kojima Sr. LB, Orem
Kojima transferred from Maple Mountain and was an immediate star for the Tigers, rolling up 155 tackles (65 solo), 24 tackles for loss and five sacks. He also came in on offense for goal-line situations and scored five touchdowns on the ground.
Griffin Kunz Sr. LB, Skyridge
Kunz led the Falcons with 98 tackle (35 solo) and 12.5 tackles for loss.
Daniel Marquez Sr. OL/DL, Springville
Marquez anchored the lines for the Red Devils and had 84 tackles (52 solo) along with nine tackles for loss.
Warren Matina Sr. OL, Orem
Matina was a dominating blocker for one of the state’s most potent offenses.
Bott Mulitalo Sr. OL, Lone Peak
Mulitalo was one of the most coveted recruits in the state with his aggressive style and signed to play college football at BYU.
Gehrig Orchard Sr. QB, Provo
Orchard was a prolific passer, finishing 186 of 323 (X) for 2,867 yards and 32 touchdowns while rushing for two more scores.
Jaron Pula Sr. WR, Lone Peak
The BYU signee was a speedy and acrobatic receiver, finishing with 55 catches for 821 yards (15 yards per catch) and 11 touchdowns.
Malik Sika Jr. WR, Westlake
Sika exploded onto the prep football scene with an amazing junior season, with 66 catches for 1,176 yards (17.8 per catch) and 19 touchdowns for the Thunder.
Lincoln Tahi Sr. RB, Skyridge
Tahi pounded his way to 675 rushing yards on 143 carries (4.7 per carry) and 11 touchdowns while adding 62 catches for 487 yards and three more scores.
Carson Thorne Sr. OL, American Fork
Thorne led the Cavemen as a powerful blocker and leader.
Lisiate Valeti Sr. RB, Springville
Valeti led Springville with 1,100 yards rushing on 140 carries (7.9 yards per rush) and 12 touchdowns. On defense, he had 79 tackles (41 solo) and four tackles for loss.
Tuioni Valeti Sr. RB/LB, Springville
Valeti led Springville with 144 tackles (81 solo) along with 18 tackles for loss. He also rushed for 245 yards on 39 carries for four touchdowns.
Trevyn Wall Sr. QB, Payson
Wall had a terrific season with 2,991 passing yards and 20 touchdowns (11 interceptions) while adding three rushing scores.
Ronnie Wright Sr. WR, Provo
Wright was voted the MVP of Region 7 and put up 1,451 yards and 18 touchdowns on 78 catches for the Bulldogs.

Dreysen Afuvai Sr. LB, Westlake
Afuvai was credited with 159 tackles (123 solo) with four tackles for loss.
Tate Barney Sr. RB, Lone Peak
Barney rushed for 673 yards and six touchdowns on 101 carries, adding 10 catches for 135 yards and two more scores.
Mataali’i Benjamin Sr. OL, Lehi
Benjamin was part of one of the biggest and strongest offensive lines in the state
Brenyn Benson Jr. OL, Provo
Benson will return as one of the top linemen in the valley next season.
Ben Brand Sr. RB, Wasatch
Brand rushed for 995 yards and four touchdowns on 203 carries, adding 137 yards and a score on 21 catches.
Derek Brinton Jr. LB, Pleasant Grove
Brinton had 95 tackles (58 solo) and 5.5 tackles for loss.
Gage Christensen Sr. WR, Spanish Fork
Christensen caught 58 passes for 699 yards and four touchdowns, adding 35 tackles and two interceptions on defense.
McKay Christensen Sr. OL, American Fork
Christensen was a steady force for the Cavemen.
Cache Coombs Sr. WR, Wasatch
Coombs caught 62 passes for 699 yards and five touchdowns.

DiMartini caught 29 passes for 620 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 7.5 sacks on defense.

Evans had 114 tackles (38 solo) along with 3.5 sacks and four interceptions.

Fano is part of a young and talented offensive line in Orem.
Uli Folaumahina So. OL, Springville
Folaumahina is a two-year starter for the Red Devils.

Fullmer totaled 891 yards and five touchdowns on 54 catches while finishing with 37 tackles and three interceptions on defense.
Ryder Hales Sr. QB, Salem Hills
Hales was 211 of 344 for 2,623 yards and 25 touchdowns (eight interceptions) and rushed for five more scores.
Treyton Harris Jr. RB/LB, Springville
Harris rushed 79 times for 490 yards and six touchdowns and added 95 tackles (52 solo) and 4.5 tackles for loss on defense.
Peyton Higginson Jr. WR/DB, Salem Hills
Higginson caught 40 passes for 574 yards and nine touchdowns while adding 81 tackles (65 solo), four tackles for loss and three interceptions.
Andrew Hillstead Sr. QB, Timpanogos
Hillstead was 222 of 387 for 2,385 yards and 21 touchdowns (11 interceptions) while rushing for 414 yards and four more scores.

Hunter had 57 tackles (44 solo) with five tackles for loss and six interceptions.
