BOYS BASKETBALL
1. Timpview 11-1
The Thunderbirds incurred their first loss of the season to Redondo Union (Calif.), but still remain on top of the local scene.
2. Westlake 11-0
Utah County’s lone remaining undefeated team keeps rolling
3. American Fork 6-5
Cavemen competed well, but ultimately took two losses to top out-of-state competition
4. Orem 9-5
Orem took a tough loss to powerhouse Centennial (Calif.) 50-48
5. Springville 9-3
The Red Devils took San Joaquin Memorial (Calif.) to the brink before falling 92-87

1. Pleasant Grove 11-0
Vikings with Esperanza (Calif.), Davis and Raymond (Alberta) next on schedule.
2. Westlake 9-2
Thunder ready for new experiences in Region 2.

Wasps will be main challenger for PG in Region 7.
4. Lehi 9-4
Pioneers giving up just 34.8 points per game, so defense wins.
5. American Fork 7-3
Cavemen good at winning close games so far this season.
