Best of the Best: 2025 All-Valley Boys Lacrosse Team

Here are the top boys lacrosse players in the Utah Valley area for 2025.
Player of the Year: Cabell Buechner, Jr., M, Skyridge
Buechner did everything for the Falcons this year and is near the top of the state in just about every statistical category with 70 goals and 52 assists for 122 points, but prides himself most on ground balls, where he led the entire state with 154.
Offensive MVP: Gary Bolton, Sr. A, Payson
Bolton led the entire state in goals (88 total, 4.4 per game) for the upstart Lions. Bolton also notched 29 assists and caused 36 turnovers while doing it all for Payson.
Defensive MVP: Renner Farrer, Fr. D, Skyridge
Only a freshman, great things are ahead for Farrer who was second in the entire state in turnovers caused with 68. He also had 77 ground balls and added three goals for Skyridge in its breakthrough season.
Coach of the Year: Bart Butterfield, Skyridge
The Falcons have made marked improvements every year since Butterfield took the reins of the program. In 2025 that progression culminated into a perfect regular season record as Skyridge appears poised to become a perennial powerhouse on the lacrosse field.

Led the Thunderbirds in goals scored (69) and total points (93).
Quinn Bean, Sr. D, Lone Peak
Bean led the Knights with 44 takeaways and added 55 ground balls.
Max Carpenter, Sr. A, Westlake
Carpenter notched 47 goals, 38 assists and 34 ground balls.
Bridger Dastrup, Sr., M, Cedar Valley
Dastrup led his team with 61 goals and 54 assists.
Emmett Fenton, Sr. M, Lone Peak
Fenton had 95 points which included 59 assists.
Dylan Forsgren, Jr., A, Skyridge
Forsgren was second on his team with 93 total points.
Jaxton Hansen, Sr., G, Skyridge
Had an outstanding 204 saves on the season.
Jameson Jones, Sr. A, Timpanogos
59 total points and 40 goals.
Jared Keel, Sr. A, Payson
79 total points, 42 goals and 37 assists.
Porter Kraft, Sr., A, Maple Mountain
100 total points and 58 assists
Seth Lambert, Sr., A, Lone Peak
Was the Knights leading goal-scorer with 63 on the season.
Brandon Norris, Sr., A, Spanish Fork
Led the entire state with 136 total points while causing 18 turnovers.
Zxander Stanbrough, Sr., A, Lehi
41 goals and 12 takeaways for the Pioneers.
