Best of the Best: 2025 All-Valley Softball Team

Here are the top softball players in the Utah Valley area in 2025:

Player of the Year: Maile Larsen, Sr., C, Pleasant Grove

Larsen hit a state-leading 26 home runs and 74 RBI, finishing off her remarkable career as the all-time leader in career home runs (60) and RBI (211.) Larsen also proved to be the ultimate team leader and standout defensive player from her catching position.

Pitcher MVP: Abbi Houron, So., P, Lehi

Houron fanned 180 batters over 161.2 innings pitched while accumulating a 2.94 ERA. She played a big role in the Pioneer’s late run in the 6A state championships.

Offensive MVP: Allyx Haveron, Jr., UTIL, Springville

Haveron torched opposing pitching to the tune of a .561 batting average, 68 RBI and 20 home runs. Central to her team’s success, Haveron also pitched 55 innings with a 5.60 ERA.

Defensive MVP: Emmery Wilson, So., C, Salem Hills

Wilson had 188 put outs against just four errors on the season. She also had 49 RBI, hit 15 doubles and led her team with a .481 batting average.

Coach of the Year: Kaleb Stokes, Salem Hills

The Skyhawks have improved every season under Stokes and came just one game away from winning a 5A state championship on top of a remarkable 27-6 season record.

2025 All-Valley Softball First Team

(alphabetical order)

Brilynn Attebery, Jr., P/1B, Westlake

Attebery did it all for the Thunder, recording 27 RBI while striking out 56 batters with a 3.82 ERA

Paisley Beckstead, Jr., C, Payson

Led the Lions with a .484 batting average and 45 RBI

Sophie Bliss, Sr., CF/SS/P, Lehi

Bliss played multiple roles and hit nine home runs and had 38 RBI

Paizley Boman, Fr., P, Spanish Fork

182 strikeouts and a 3.26 as a mere freshman for the Dons

Kelsie Draney, Sr., P/UTIL, Pleasant Grove

Draney was the Viking’s top pitcher and had a 4.90 ERA and 124 strikeouts. She also had 27 RBI.

Aliyah Elmer, So., 3B, Salem Hills

Elmer hit 48 RBI, seven home runs and had a .431 batting average.

Kelci Gingras, Sr., UTIL, Timpanogos

Led the Timberwolves with a .538 batting average, eight home runs and 37 home runs.

Camryn Guest, Sr., OF, Salem Hills

Led her team with a .598 batting average while contributing 35 RBI

Tyler Haveron, Sr., UTIL, Springville

Led her team in doubles with 14 while accumulating a .495 batting average and 38 RBI.

Kiley Hoshnic, Jr., P/1B, Orem

35 RBI and seven home runs on top of 158 strikeouts

Gracie Jensen, Jr., P/1B, Maple Mountain

35 RBI and ten home runs on top of 83 strikeouts as the Golden Eagles primary pitcher

Ellie Leatham, Sr., 1B, Cedar Valley

Led the Aviators with 45 RBI, eight home runs and a .458 batting average

Maya Maughan, Jr., 1B/P, Lehi

Maughan had 46 RBI, nine home runs and batted for a .467 average from the plate

Hannah Maylett, Sr. UTIL, Orem

Led the Tigers with 46 RBI and 15 home runs on top of a .453 batting average

Keyana Murray, Sr., P, Salem Hills

28 RBI and seven home runs to go along with 67 strikeouts and a 3.71 ERA for the Skyhawks

Grace Norman, Sr., UTIL, Pleasant Grove

Norman was second on her team with 42 RBI and slugged 11 home runs

Jocile Norman, Jr., P/1B, Salem Hills

Norman was dominant from the plate with 40 RBI and also the pitching circle where she had 124 Ks and a 3.67 ERA

Maya Parry, Sr., UTIL, Pleasant Grove

Parry hit 13 home runs, second to only Maile Larsen while adding 41 RBI

Ryan Pead, Sr., P/UTIL, Westlake

Had a .459 batting average, 39 RBI and a team-leading nine home runs.

Brooklyn Richardson, Sr., P, Springville

Richardson was the Red Devil’s top pitcher with a 4.59 ERA. She also hit nine home runs and had 38 RBI

Peyton Staheli, Sr., P, Payson

174 strikeouts and a 3.58 ERA. Also added 11 RBI for the Lions

Maylee Walston, Jr. P/OF, Skyridge

Walston led her team with a .473 batting average, 44 RBI and 13 home runs.

2025 All-Valley Softball Second Team

Tava’esina Albert, Jr., C, Provo

29 RBI, nine home runs and a .750 batting average for the Bulldogs

Allie Callahan, Sr., UTIL, Payson

37 RBI and a team-leading 10 home runs

Emmri Chuchrun, Fr., UTIL, Westlake

.500 batting average and 31 RBI

Jaz Ciliezar, Jr., UTIL, Springville

.422 BA and eight doubles

Addison Conder, Jr., 3B, Westlake

37 RBI and a .359 batting average

Brynlee Cook, Jr., UTIL, Lehi

28 RBI, nine doubles and seven home runs

Kyla Donegan, Jr., P/SS, Maple Mountain

The Golden Eagles secondary pitcher and had a team-leading 36 RBI and .419 BA

Morgan Fairbourne, Jr., UTIL, Springville

31 RBI and 10 doubles

Sadie Groneman, So., UTIL, Orem

.438 batting average and 39 RBI

Saralynn Hair, Fr., UTIL, Mountain View

.383 batting average and 29 RBI to lead the Bruins

Lia Higginson, Jr., UTIL, Spanish Fork

35 RBI and a .475 batting average

Sarah Jensen, Fr., UTIL, American Fork

Jensen hit for a .457 average and had a team-leading 18 RBI

Lianna Jones, Sr., C/1B, Wasatch

.458 batting average and 28 RBI

Shaylie Lang, Jr., P, Timpanogos

30 RBI and 83 strikeouts

Aniston Norton, Sr., UTIL, Pleasant Grove

Norton was second on her team with a .552 batting average and contributed 20 RBI

Kaydance Pope, Sr., OF, Timpanogos

.469 batting average and 31 RBI

Jade Romero, Sr., UTIL, Spanish Fork

.368 batting average and 27 RBI

Audrey Sherman, Jr., UTIL, Westlake

.432 batting average and 40 RBI

Stevenson hit eight home runs and had 36 RBI
