BOYS BASKETBALL 

1. Timpview 19-2

The T-birds rolled with 20+ point wins over both Orem and Spanish fork

2. Westlake 20-1

A big 72-58 win over Bingham firmly established the Thunder’s spot in the rankings

3. American Fork 15-7

The Cavemen continue to notch tight wins over top opponents in downing both Lone Peak and Corner Canyon last week

4. Skyridge 14-7

The Falcons are coming on strong and have now won four straight over top Region 3 teams

5. Orem 13-9

The Tigers lost a tough one to Timpview, but who doesn’t lose to Timpview these days?

GIRLS BASKETBALL

1. Pleasant Grove 21-0

Vikings have No. 1 seed for 5A Tournament locked up with one game left.

2. Westlake 18-3

Three-point loss to Cedar Valley ended 13-game winnings streak.

3. Wasatch 15-5

Wasps put up supreme fight with 6A Bingham before losing 51-49.

4. Provo 15-8

Bulldogs open 4A state tournament as No. 8 seed.

5. Lone Peak 12-10

Knights youngsters starting to find their footing after grueling schedule.

BOYS WRESTLING

1. Spanish Fork

Dons won their divisional meet and qualified 17 for the state tournament.

2. Westlake

6A has some great teams and the Thunder are among them.

3. Wasatch

Wasps with their star power could wrestle away the state title from the Dons.

4. Timpanogos

Timberwolves won their divisional tournament and hope to challenge Uintah.

5. Mountain View

Brigham Cookson took home a divisional title for the Bruins.

1. Wasatch

Two-time defending 5A champions won’t give up gold trophy without a fight.

2. Salem Hills

Skyhawks have the combination of star power and depth to challenge for the gold trophy in 5A.

3. Cedar Valley

Aviators win divisional title, set sights on 6A crown.

4. Westlake

Thunder second to Cedar Valley at the 6A Divisional B tourney but still lurk as a trophy contender.

5. Springville

Red Devils look to crack the top five teams in 5A.
