AF’s Mella, Clark lead All-Region 3 Boys Basketball awards

Mella, a 6-foot-5 senior, averaged 17.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 58% from the field for the Cavemen, which won Region 3 with a 7-1 record. He has signed to play for Utah State.
Clark, a 6-8 center, averaged 16.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 62% from the field.
American Fork (18-8) advanced to the 6A semifinals before falling to Bingham 69-65 in overtime.
