Here are the top girls basketball players in the Utah Valley area in 2025-26:

Player of the Year: Tabi Clark, Sr. F/G, Pleasant Grove

Pleasant Grove was full of top players, but Tabi Clark rose above them all. The senior wing led the Vikings in scoring (16.2 points per game) and always proved clutch down the stretch, a fact that was exemplified when she hit three straight free throws to take an overtime win over Wasatch. Clark, who has signed with Utah Valley University, was consistent and always dangerous from anywhere on the court versus every opponent played.

Offensive MVP: Leah Bailey, Jr. G, Maple Mountain

Bailey made buckets, and lots of them throughout the 2025-26 season. On January 10 she set a school record with 45 points against Skyline, making nine 3-pointers, and also had a 36-point effort on Nov. 25 against West Field. Only a junior, she’s certain to be one of the premier playmakers next season for the Golden Eagles. Bailey averaged 20 points per game and did her best work from behind the arc where she made a state leading 103 triples, averaging 3.9 3-pointers per game.

Defensive MVP: Sutton Villa, So. C, Pleasant Grove

Post defenders seldom prove more dominant than Sutton Villa did throughout this past season. The 6-foot-6 Villa was an absolute game-changer with her presence inside the paint and averaged eight rebounds and an astounding 5.9 blocks. Villa was certainly a big key for the Viking’s undefeated season and should see even bigger strides made in the coming years when considering she’s only a sophomore. Oh yeah, she also averaged 14.2 points on the offensive end.

Coach of the Year: Angela Villa, Pleasant Grove

Carrying a team to an undefeated mark is a rare accomplishment, but that’s exactly what Angela Villa managed in her very first year coaching for the Vikings. She did as much dealing with several players transferring into the program and meshed it all into what became one of the most accomplished teams in Utah high school girls basketball history.
