Snow Cone

Have you ever tried a snow cone? I have! Recently I have been reviewing snow cone shacks. I have tried three different shacks: Lani’s Hawaiian Style Shave Ice, Summer Snow Shave Ice and Snowie. They had a lot in common and a lot of differences.

They all have their own locations. Lani’s is on State Street in Lindon, Summer Snow is right by the Scera pool on State Street and Snowie is on State Street and 400 South.

They all make their snow cones in about the same way. They all use machines. But all of their machines are different.

They all have a large flavor selection. Lani’s has 22 flavors (some of them were very original) and four Custom Combinations. You can also have ice cream in it. Summer Snow has 33 flavors, combos, the choice of ice cream, and you could have half and half in it. Snowie has 77 flavors and some of them are way unique.

All the snow cone shacks looked really good. Lani’s has a nice shade and chairs. The shack is red with words and it even has wheels. Summer Snow looks a lot like a very small cottage. It has a table with an umbrella. Snowie is blue with a blow thing on the top. It has words on the building like Lani’s does.

Each shack has it’s own prices, too. Lani’s was $1.50 for a child size, $2.25 for a small, $3 for a medium, and $3.75 for a large. Summer Snow was $0.50 for a baby size, $0.75 for an extra small, $1.50 for a small, $2.50 for a medium, $3.50 for a large, and $4.50 for a jumbo. Snowie was $1 for a small, $2 for a medium, and $3 for a large.

They all provided great service. At Lani’s, the two workers were very friendly, and since there were three of us they gave us extra spoons without us asking for them. At Summer Snow, we had to ask for extra spoons, but they were faster. The three workers were also friendly. Snowie had one worker and we had to ask for extra spoons. They weren’t so friendly either, but they were pretty fast.

Last, but not least, we have to remember the snow cones themselves. Lani’s was fluffy and it had a lot of taste. The size was good and it tasted good. Summer Snow wasn’t as fluffy and wasn’t as flavorful. But it was a good size and had a good taste. Snowie was very good tasting. It wasn’t too fluffy, but it was good. It was a good size also.

I had a really good time reviewing these snow cone shacks. I would recommend any of these shacks. They are all very good.
