‘Princess’ of children’s books to speak at BYU
The popular author for middle grade and middle school students, Jessica Day George, will speak on the Brigham Young University Campus on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The presentation is being sponsored by the Brigham Young University Reading Council.
Her presentation, “The Chocolate Cheesecake Theory,” will be held in the auditorium (115) of the David O. McKay Building at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the community. Her books will be sold onsite from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and after the presentation.
Jessica Day George is the author of “Princess of Glass” and “Princess of the Midnight Ball” as well as three novels in the “Dragon Slippers” series, “Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow” and “Tuesdays at the Castle.”
Originally from Idaho, she studied at Brigham Young University and was a movie store clerk, a bookseller, and a school office lady before becoming a writer. She now resides in Salt Lake City with her husband and their three young children.
