Provo City Council approves dark-sky lighting code

The Provo City Council approved an update Tuesday to the city's outdoor lighting code to make the city more dark sky compliant.  All new and replaced outdoor fixtures will be required to have a color temperature of 3,000 Kelvin or less and be fully shielded, according to city documents.
