Brent Brown Toyota celebrates re-grand opening in Orem

By Craig Conover daily Herald - | Mar 30, 2016

Brent Brown Toyota celebrated a re-grand opening event in Orem Monday after a 6 month renovation of the existing dealership that was done to “enhance the customer experience at Brent Brown Toyota,” according to Larry Terry general manger.

Since the taking over the dealership in 1992 and finding it in the bottom 20 dealerships in the country in customer loyalty and satisfaction, Brent had to find a way to change the image and make his dream come true without Toyota taking it away before he had a chance to accomplish anything.

At this low point in the history of Brent Brown Toyota, he came up with the idea to put up a billboard at the Point of the Mountain claiming that they would “Bend over backwards to keep customers business in Utah County.”

This slogan, according to Brent, has been their mantra to keep customers coming back when they have needed to get a new car. Since that low point years ago, Brent Brown Toyota has become a top 10 dealership in the country in the Toyota marketplace.

Paul Holdrige, VP of sales for Toyota, attended the celebration of the remodeled dealership and pointed out that the secret to comes down to two things: the associates at the dealer and the customers that are pleased and continue to come back. It is a very simple plan; have the best customer service possible and folks will continue to shop your products.

Concerned with being a community partner, Brown presented a check for $12,000 to the Provo School District

Orem Mayor Richard Brunst was also on hand pointing out that giving back to the community was one of the great things he has noticed about how the company worked.

The facility completed the remodel to increase capacity to meet increased demand and a growing customer base. The dealership also contracted local construction firms to spearhead the renovation process, again stimulating the areas economy with new jobs.

Construction took six months to complete and was designed with a new car delivery area, revamped showroom and modern, updated LED lighting throughout. The exterior of the dealership received upscale improvements, including 11,000 square feet of aluminum panel finish, LED fixtures to illuminate the parking lot and a new artificial rockwork display complete with water features to model the arches of Southern Utah.

Starting at $4.32/week.
