Splash Summit Waterpark, at the east end of Provo’s Center Street, may not be open for winter, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t trying to make a splash this Christmas.

The waterpark is holding a contest where individuals like, comment and share the waterpark’s giveaway post on Facebook or Instagram and they’ll be entered to win two floor seat tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour on March 24 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and a $50 visa card.

“Thousands of people had their dreams of attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour’ dashed when Ticketmaster’s disastrous presale crashed resulting in thousands of disappointed Taylor Swift fans,” said Nick Strong, vice president of marketing for the Splash Summit. “As we know ‘All Too Well’ Taylor Swift tickets are sold out unless you’re looking to spend thousands on resale tickets.”

The waterpark sees this as one of the great gifts of Christmas with Swift’s popularity.

“As a management team, we’ve always preferred giving rather than receiving gifts and this is the ultimate gift that we wanted to give away this Christmas” Strong said. “We’re just excited for the person who wins and we’re certain that they’ll love this gift.”

The winner will receive two tickets to Swift’s March 24 show at Allegiant Stadium — seats that Strong admits he didn’t even get in the Ticketmaster presale. A winner will be chosen on Dec. 17, and more information is available on the Splash Summit Waterpark Facebook page.

“When we purchased the waterpark at the end of 2019, we decided that we wanted to elevate guest experience at the park and these types of giveaways help us to accomplish that mission” said park owner Spencer Shumway. “In the upcoming months and years, guests will continue to notice our commitment to elevating the entire guest experience both during the summer season at the waterpark and in the off season.”
