A pair of local chains — Swig and Kona Ice — have some special offers in the coming days to entice those with a sweet tooth.
Swig, which specializes in mixed soda drinks and sugar cookies, announced in a press release it will celebrate its 15-year anniversary by having a couple of special deals on Saturday.
Starting at 10 a.m., every Swig nationwide will sell pink sugar cookies for $1 and mini-cookie cups in two flavors — birthday and chocolate chip — for $2 each (limit 12 total per customer).
Here is the complete release from Swig:
“Swig – Home of the Original Dirty Soda® — is celebrating 15 years of business with a special deal at every location nationwide.
“On Saturday, April 12, starting at 10 a.m., Swig is offering its famous pink sugar cookies for $1 each and mini cookie cups in both flavors for $2 each.
“Swig was founded 15 years ago by Nicole Tanner (now Nicole Robison) in St. George, Utah. Since then, Swig has become one of the fastest-growing beverage companies in the country, expanding to over 100 stores in 14 states and counting.
“‘We’re excited to celebrate 15 years of Swig with our customers who made it all possible,’ said Nicole, founder of Swig. ‘This is a way to say thank you and share a little sweetness with everyone. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or you’re giving our cookies a try for the first time, we can’t wait to see you at Swig.’
“Swig takes soda to the next level with menu favorites or completely personalized drinks that mix classic sodas with bold flavors, fresh fruits, purees, and creams. In addition to dirty soda, the menu features Refreshers–light, water-based drinks paired with fresh fruits and flavors–and Revivers, a customizable energy drink for that extra pick-me-up. Swig also offers a selection of sweet and savory snack options, including pink sugar cookies and warm pretzel bites.
“Each customer may order up to 12 cookies or cookie cups in total.
