High School aged youth that are interested in a Saturday part-time job are needed as youth basketball officials. General basketball knowledge is need. Training and instruction will be offered by Spanish Fork Parks & Recreation Staff. Perspective officials should plan to attend a two hour training on Wednesday December 20th in room C-11 at Spanish Fork High School Pay rates range from $7.00 to $8.00 an hour.

Open Gym: Has now started and will be open every Monday evening other then December 25th , through Mid- March. Hours are 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This time is set forth with a Rec. Center atmosphere. Basketball & Volleyball courts, walking area, weight room and open floor areas are available. Families are welcome as well as individuals. A $1.00 fee per person will be charged at the door each Monday evening. Open Gym is held at Spanish Fork Jr. High School, (600 South 820 East) please enter on west side of gymnasium.

Alumni Basketball Tournament: Come play some hoops with your old classmates. The 2006 tournament is scheduled for December 26, 27 & 28. Great timing to run off some holiday goodies. Team need to be made of graduating classes and registered at the Spanish Fork Parks & recreation office by Wednesday, December 20th. Team fee is $125.00. Softball Winter Games Tournament

The fifth annual snow softball tournament will be held in January this year in hopes of actually having snow on the ground when games are played. The tournament will be held on January 20, 2007. Teams may register now, with registration deadline being set for January 17th. Team fee is $150.00 and should be paid at the Spanish Fork recreation office.

5th Annual Pizza Factory Baseball Tournament

Local accelerated baseball teams are invited to participate in the 2007 Pizza Factory Tournament. This years tournament will be held April 12 – 14. Five age divisions will be offered, 8/9u, 10u, 11u, 12u & 13u. Team fee is set at $325.00. All tournament games will be played in Spanish Fork. Team registration must be done by April 3rd.
