The Payson Baseball Team played four games this weekend during a tournament held on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24. The Varsity team returned home with two wins and two losses after playing Bountiful, Canyon View and two Las Vegas teams, the Devils and Ranchos. The boys lost to Bountiful 10-15 and Canyon View 6-9 but came away with wins against the Devils 6-4 and the Ranchos 7-5. The younger team members really stepped it up at the tournament and played hard since their star 1st baseman, Casey Juber was injured during their first preseason game.
The boys baseball team plays again on Tuesday, March 27 at Lehi and Thursday, March 29 against Lehi at home.
