Enlist your youngsters to assist in making these sweet, little owl treats and see how quickly they fly off the plate. Put chocolate frosting in a piping bag fitted with a writing tip (we used a Wilton #3) or in a ziplock bag with a tiny corner snipped off. With dots of frosting, attach mini Nilla Wafer eyes, chocolate chip pupils (trim off the tips so that the chips sit flat), and an almond beak to a 3- or 4-inch-wide snickerdoodle cookie. Pipe dots of frosting on the sides of the cookie for wings and three dots of frosting, as shown, for each foot. Now, whooo’s ready for dessert?
