4 ways to have fun with your family in Utah County this week

Utah County is a great place for family fun, with events across the valley for kids of all ages. Here are five fun events that are perfect for the whole family this week.

See some monsters at the museum

Take the whole family to the Springville Museum of Art for the Monsters at the Museum event. The event is in the museum’s Wit and Whimsey exhibition and will include monster-themed art projects, storytelling and treats.

When: 5-7 p.m., Wednesday

Location: Springville Museum of Art; 126 E. 400 South, Springville

Shop at a spring market

The Bijou Market will host its Spring Market this week, with a variety of vendors selling handmade goods. This market will include 50 vendors with handmade, vintage and curated shop vendors.

When: 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday

Where: 261 N. University Ave., Provo

Be served dinner by police officers

This week, officers from the Provo Police Department, the Orem Police Department, the Lehi Police Department, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office and other local agencies will serve dinner at Sizzler for the annual Cops for Kids charity event. All tips will help support the Utah County Children’s Justice Center. The event coincides with National Child Abuse Awareness Month.

When: 4-8 p.m., Thursday

Where: Provo Sizzler; 1385 S. University Ave., Provo or Orem Sizzler; 1240 S. State St., Orem

Celebrate spring with the Provo Kids Club

Provo Towne Centre Mall will host its monthly free Kids Club activity Wednesday. This month, the group will be painting flower pots, and planting a flower that they can then then bring home to watch it grow.

When: 12-1 p.m., Wednesday

Where: Provo Towne Centre; 1200 Towne Centre Blvd., Provo
