4 ways to have fun with your family in Utah County this week
Utah County is a great place for family fun, with events across the valley for kids of all ages. Here are four fun events that are perfect for the whole family this week.
Attend the Hope of America
More than 8,000 fifth-grade students from 90 schools will come together to form a red, white and blue American Flag in the annual Hope of America performance. The event is hosted by the Freedom Festival and is one of the most popular events of the year. Take the whole family to enjoy one of the performances that celebrate freedom through song, choreography and sign language.

Celebrate a Baby Animal Birthday
It’s springtime and that means that farms are full of baby animals. Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point will celebrate its cute new additions with a Baby Animal Birthday party. You can vote for your favorite names for the new baby animals and have a slice of birthday cake.

Catch a Family Flix
The Orem Public Library will host its monthly Family Flix event Saturday. The event features a family-friendly movie screening at the Media Auditorium at the library. This month’s featured film will be “Sea Prince and the Fire Child.”
The film test the story of Sirius, the Sea Prince, who falls in love with Malta, the daughter of Hyperia, Queen of Fire. The film was originally a Japanese animate film, and is dubbed in English.

Race in a Barnyard Run
Help support the Orem FFA by participating in their Barnyard Run. This family-friendly 5k is perfect for the whole family, as it is run on a no-hill course.
