5 ways to have fun with your family in Utah County this week
Utah County is a great place for family fun, with events across the valley for all ages.
Here are five fun events that are perfect for the whole family this week:
Watch a be-witching movie
Eagle Mountain will host a Witches and Wizards Movie Night with a showing of “Hocus Pocus.”
There will be free popcorn and those who attend can buy other hot treats. Make sure you don your best witch and wizard costumes for the costume contest.

Head to a fall festival
Saratoga Springs will host its annual Fall Festival this week, with inflatables, free games, trick-or-treating, train rides and a petting zoo. Food trucks also will be at the event, so you can pick up some fun food.
The train rides and games will be free, and a $3 wristband will give you unlimited access to the inflatables and the petting zoo.
When: 5-8 p.m., Friday

Have some fall fun
Hee Haws Farms in Pleasant Grove is officially open for the season, with its Fall Fun center. You can pick your own pumpkin in their pumpkin patch, take a hayride, visit the petting farm, go on a pony ride or get lost in a corn maze. There is also a Haunted Tale Hayride.
There are also many fun activities for kids, including a giant slide, animal train and a corn box.
When: Now through Nov. 4, times vary by date

Cost: $6 general admission for ages 3 and older
Go on a cruise
Enjoy a themed riverboat ride on the Provo River with more than 100 hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns, pirate attacks and scary stories. Perfect for those of all ages. You can also enjoy the movie, “Spooky Bats and Scaredy Cats” before or after your cruise.
When: Oct. 1-31, first cruise at 6:30 p.m. nightly; closed Sunday

See a spooky animal show
If reptiles make your skin crawl, head to Hutchings Museum for a truly spooky show. You can get up close and personal with creepy crawly animals, like tarantulas and snakes.
